I think our friends over at Freespace Watch and Telefragged will be happy that I finally managed to get both the banners and the links to their sites working. While I was at it, I developed my own ad pic for you to link back to this site if you would like. You have a choice of either large or small...

This week is a short preview of some things to come. We have been working on some of the backgrounds to the Tau Sigma cluster, including new planet .pcx files. You can download it and see the first batch of new planets. Included with the file is the appropriate stars.tbl file that you will need. And don't worry, if you already have the extended .tbl file from Descent Chronicles, this stars.tbl file takes that into account.

Accompanying this is a newly updated version of Welcome to the Boonies released all those months ago. It plays essentially the same, but with the new, rich background. If you haven't played this mission, you will need to download the original from the Descent Chronicles Mission Archive first to get all the appropriate sound files.

Okay, we have some new screenshots, and the first part of the 212th Silver Scythes section is now open, including a special logo fashioned by none other than Dark himself. We also have a new Ghost Story, as well as some new screenshots! Something for everybody...

If you're wondering where the download section is, it's not quite ready yet. However in the meantime you can look them up in the mission archive at Descent Chronicles in the meantime. At present, six mission have been published as a preview for this campaign:

• Bait and Switch
• A Time for Penance
• The Horror in the Deep
• Rites of Passage*
• Killer Rabbit

All of these missions are undergoing revisions and will be updated for inclusion in the whole campaign.

Hi everybody, I'm Kellan. Some of you may know me from the Descent Chronicles, where I do reviews. Anyway, I'm Agatheron's partner in the whole Derelict campaign. Hopefully I'll also contribute to this website at least a little over the coming weeks. In fact, I've started already. In the Ghost Stories section, you'll find a transmission log, penned by me.
