Secrets Revealed

Introduction: We've discovered the GTI base of operations. The Jotunheim Installation in Beta Aquilae is the center for all GTI research.

Mission Objectives:
Primary - Destroy GTI Jotenhiem
Primary - Destroy the Hades

Recommended Ship: Ursa
Recommended Loadout: Prometheus (p1), Prometheus (p2), Interceptor (s1), Harbinger (s2), Harbinger (s3)

Walkthrough: This is a fairly tough mission. So pay attention. Destroying the installation isn't too hard, but I've found only one way to make this mission easy enough to pass. This is it.

Load all of your wingmen with Ursa's and when you run out of those, Medusa's. We're going for the full heavy strike package. Arm them with as many Tsunami's and Harbingers as possible. Save space for a few Interceptors here and there.

When you enter the mission. Assign the various wings to attack different Loki's. Heading straight for the station is suicide in the best of circumstances.

When the first wave of Loki's are down, head for the station. With your massive quantities of firepower, the installation will only last for a few minutes at best.

This is where it gets tough. When the Hades arrives, thats when there is problems.

Unfortunately, the Hades is a tough ship and it will take 10-20 minutes of continuous pounding to take her out. While is isn't the best design decision by Volition, you can still do it.

Try and help your fellow wingmen to attack the Hades all at the same time. Hopefully they will last long enough for you to damage the massive destroyer. Aim for the weapons and turrets. Destroy Loki's when they become annoying, but for the most part, unless you get careless, they wont bother you.

Find the small trench under the main part of the Hades and sit there and keep firing. Call for a reload when your bombs are done.

When the Hades is destroyed. Its mission accomplished, game over. Good work, you've beaten Silent Threat.
